Mr. Lustbader is a recovering lawyer, banker and private investor with a passion for financial empowerment. He currently serves as Head of ArborKnot, North America. Prior to joining ArborKnot, Mr. Lustbader spearheaded European investment efforts for the Thermopolis Partners investment partnership after having established the firm’s hedge fund joint venture with Marathon Resource Management in South Africa. He also served as a member of Disa LLC’s Board of Directors and strategic advisor to Elementyx LC. Previously, Mr. Lustbader worked for private equity firm Friedman Fleischer & Lowe (FFL) and Morgan Stanley’s investment banking unit. Mr. Lustbader holds a J.D. from the New York University (NYU) School of Law and a B.S. from Cornell University. He speaks English and Portuguese.
