JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Performance Data Analyst with a strong background in Finance or Investments to join our expanding Data team based in Tel Aviv. As a Business Analyst at ArborKnot, you will play a crucial role in driving performance analysis and leveraging creative, data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making. You will collaborate across teams, analyze complex financial data, and provide actionable insights that fuel growth and optimize performance strategies. Your curiosity, advanced analytical skills, and strategic judgment will be essential in supporting our ambitious growth roadmap.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Performance Analysis & Optimization:

  • Own the analysis and data aspects of active performance management, assisting the performance team with tools and insights to enhance outcomes.
  • Provide in-depth analysis to guide strategic decisions, such as evaluating optimal timing for reallocating portfolios or refining DCA (Debt Collection Agency) allocations.
  • Regularly review portfolios, identifying issues and offering actionable, data-driven recommendations.
  • Develop tools to monitor portfolio performance and alert stakeholders to declining trends, along with suggested remedies.

2. Data Analysis & Decision Support:

  • Develop quantitative analysis, tools and financial models to stratify and segment portfolios to support business decision-making.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to validate business and research hypotheses.

3. Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting:

  • Deliver impactful analysis and recommendations in our internal performance meetings
  • Present recommendations clearly to stakeholders and executives, supporting their understanding of granular portfolio performance.
  • Deliver insights about the DCA panel, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement based on your analysis and comparisons.
  • Participate in meetings with DCAs as the analytics expert, challenging statements with data-driven arguments to ensure accuracy and alignment with performance objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • 2+ years of experience as a Business Analysis, Data Analysis, or a similar role, preferably in Finance or Investments.
  • Proven experience in analyzing data, trends, performing root cause analysis, and driving business decisions with data-driven strategies.
  • Curious & critical thinking mindset is key to success in this role.
  • Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), advanced SQL querying, and data modeling in Python
  • Proficiency in Excel, including the use of complex functions and data manipulation.
  • Excellent communication skills; fluent in English (written & spoken).
  • Asset and portfolio management experience is an advantage.
  • Selflearner, self sufficient proactive problem solver, A natural problem-solver with a passion for uncovering trends and presenting data in impactful ways.
  • Academic degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field – or equivalent experience.
